Department Of Zoology

Zoology Department was established in 2011 in GGDC Mandan, 1st H.O.D of the department was Miss Nadia Nisar (2011-2012), 2nd H.O.D of the Department was Madam Mussarat Shaheen (2012-2019). Currently Miss Zakia Minhas is the 3rd H.Ö.D of Zoology department Zoology has significant role in human resource development, food security, environmental conservation, sustainable development and ultimately in alleviation poverty. Department is committed to the mission of quality teaching and research in the field of Zoology, Biotechnology, Natural Resource Management and Conservation of Entomology. Department is offering B.S program and has completed seven batches consisting of about more than 200 students. Most of the students perform jobs in different institutions (Govt institutions, Private institution and NADRA). Currently we have 4 Batches (2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th) consisting of 150 students. The department is providing quality education as well as Research opportunities to the students from 2016 till now. More than 50 students have completed research on different topics. Under the supervision of different teachers (Supervisors Miss Zakia Minhas 2016, Miss Tanzila 2018, Miss Nimra 2019, Miss Khadija, Miss Saima and Miss Kalsoom 2020, Miss Saima, Miss Khadija and Miss Shayra in 2021,Miss Huma in 2022 and Miss Saima, Miss Khadija „Miss Ambreen, Miss Shayra, Miss Aimen And Miss Nosha in 2023).
