B: In case of admission to the AD/BS program, the following seats distribution (40 or 50) for each discipline shall be observed by each college and shall offer admission to the following based on their respective merit:
43%seats are reserved for candidates of the district in which the college is situated, as defined under rule 4: A(ii)
A44% seats are reserved for open merit
04% is reserved for the children of the in-service or retired employees of the Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (College sub-sector) on the provincial basis.
02 % seat is reserved for the disabled candidates of the province. However, such candidates must produce a disabled certificate from the concerned department.
05 % seats are reserved for sports quota on the provincial basis. These seats are reserved only for the games which facilities are available and offered by the college. 5 of 11
02 % of seats are reserved for minority candidates on a provincial basis. (Note: As per Supreme Court of Pakistan decision and HED notification: SO(Lit)/HED/CPLA-30/Dr. Shoaib Suddle Commission/1121-57 dated: 29-10-21)
Seats falling vacant under any quota as defined under rule 4: B (ii, iii, iv, v,vi) shall be allocated to quota as defined under rule 4: B(i)(District Local).However, if seats remain vacant under quota Rule 4. B(i)(District Local), then these vacant seatsmay be allocated to quota at 4:B(ii) (Open Merit Quota).
One seat for admission to intermediate Part-I, ADP/BS 1st semester in each faculty/discipline over and above of the allocated seats is reserved for Afghan refugees. However, such candidates shall submit their applications through the proper channel. Pre Medical, Pre Engineering, Computer Science, and Arts each may be considered as a separate faculty at the intermediate level.
